It's been a whirlwind week for family members of World Series hero and Broken Arrow native Brad Penny.
He won two games during the World Series for the Florida Marlins against the New York Yankees. His parents, grandmother and other family members made trips to Florida and New York for the series. They're now home in Oklahoma and very proud of Brad's accomplishments.
Brad’s mom Donna Penny, "When they ran out on the field after they won it, it was like watching little league again, those boys out there piling on each other. It was awesome."
Brad Penny lives in Oklahoma during the off-season. He's expected back in the Sooner State in about a week.
