Dwight Sutherland dead at 81

(Kansas City, Missouri-AP) -- Businessman Dwight Sutherland Senior, the former head of Sutherland Lumber Company, has died at the age of 81.
Family members say Sutherland died Saturday night at a Kansas City hospital. A cause of death was not given.
However, an ambulance was called to Sutherland's estate in Overland Park, Kansas, Friday afternoon, after a man suffered a gunshot wound.
Police in Overland Park say officers dropped their investigation after determining no criminal activity had occurred.
The company was founded in 1917 in Hugo, Oklahoma, by Dwight Sutherland's father. Dwight Sutherland joined the company after World War Two.
Sutherland Lumber has 60 locations in 14 states, including Oklahoma.
