Oklahoma motorists are driving more safely this year. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports fewer motorists have died on the state's highways this year than during the same period last year.
There have been 117 fewer deaths so far this year. This month alone, 17 fewer highway deaths have been report than in October of last year.
