McAlester - A hearing on whether to revoke the license of McAlester's only private ambulance company has been delayed.
The hearing was set for next week. But the attorney representing Para Med asked for a medical continuance. The hearing's now set for next month.
The Oklahoma State Department of Health Emergency Services Division wants to revoke Para Med's license because of alleged law violations and complaints.
The company is accused of interfering with city ambulance personnel at a July 2002 accident scene and failing to staff ambulances with licensed paramedics.
Para Med owner Pam Smith denies that she interfered with McAlester ambulance personnel.
