Tulsa County officials and American airlines will meet next month to discuss the airline's share of the Vision 2025 sales tax.

Voters approved $22-million for the airline through a one cent sales tax. The meeting will iron out an agreement on how the money will be spent and when.

County officials say once the tax is collected, they want to have as many projects as possible lined up so they know when the money will be spent. In addition, a contract will address American keeping jobs at the Tulsa maintenance base.

The sales tax will start January 1st.
