An investigation is underway into two major break-ins in the Mannford area. The burglaries happened Monday night.

Weapons were taken and more than a thousand rounds of ammunition were swiped from a lakeside home.

Nearby, on the same night, an Osage county deputy discovered his patrol car had been broken into. A bulletproof vest, an assault rifle and a first aid kit were taken.

Authorities say while they don't believe the burglaries are related to the Scott Eizember case, but it is a possibility.
