(Okemah-AP) -- A 17-year-year-old Okemah girl is dead after a single car crash in Okfuskee County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Veronica Ann Bennett was killed about 7:30 Sunday night when the pickup truck she was driving crashed on a county road.

Troopers say Bennett lost control of the pickup and drove off the road into a ditch. The truck then hit a fence and rolled one-and-a-half times.

A passenger in the truck was treated and released at an Okemah hospital.
