(Norman-AP) -- The University of Oklahoma Dental College will be getting ten (m) million dollars in a federal grant.
The National Institutes of Health is awarding the five-year grant for researchers to find ways to fight plaque and bacteria that cause tooth decay and gum disease.
O-U Health Sciences Center Provost Joseph Ferretti says the grant is the best thing to happen to the dental college since its opening in 1972.
