A Broken Arrow family is keeping a close eye on the National League Championship Series.

Florida Marlins pitcher Brad Penny is from Broken Arrow. His family and friends watched Penny start in Tuesday night's game against the Cubs. They say it seems like yesterday that Brad was in Little League.

Brad’s mom, Donna Penny, "For me actually, it's not been any more nerve wracking watching these games compared to regular season games because I'm a nervous wreck every time he goes out."

Some of Penny's family members have gone to his playoff games in person to watch him pitch. They all plan to go if the Marlins make it to the World Series.
