The owners of Blue Ribbon Downs in Sallisaw are trying their best to keep the racetrack open.

They've filed a request asking the Oklahoma Supreme Court to take jurisdiction of the racetrack away from a district court and stop Sequoyah County from selling it.

The Sallisaw Municipal Authority has foreclosed on the track, because it owes millions of dollars. Records show they haven't made a payment in 31 months.
