Investigators are trying to figure out what's behind an emergency landing Tuesday afternoon in a field near 96th Street South and Elwood.

The pilot was trying to land at Jones Riverside Airport when the plane's engine lost power. He managed to successfully glide the Cessna safely into a nearby field.

The pilot was the only person on board and he wasn't hurt.
