29 workers at Vance Air Force Base in Enid are preparing to get their pink slips. DynCorp says it will lay off the workers effective October 1st.
The project manager says the Air Force has cut back on the amount of training it will do next year, forcing DynCorp to adjust to the new requirements.
The company has approximately 960 employees in Enid.
