A prison escapee is back behind bars after being recaptured while accompanying a friend to the Adair County courthouse.
Michele Roach escaped from the Kate Barnard Correctional Center in Oklahoma City in April 2002. She was attending a friend's misdemeanor hearing Wednesday when someone in the courtroom identified her.
Roach is being held for the Department of Corrections in the Adair County jail. Officials say Roach was in prison on multiple felony charges including drug trafficking.
