After more than eight years on the job, the University of Tulsa's president says he plans to retire.

67-year-old Bob Lawless says he'll make his exit on June first of next year, at the end of the academic session. Lawless and his wife Marcy plan to focus on their faith and family in his retirement.

TU's board of trustees will assemble a selection committee to find TU's next president.
