Tulsa Police are looking for answers in a strange burglary case. It happened around 2:30 Monday morning at the U-Stop convenience store at Mohawk and 36th Street North.
Officers responding to an alarm call first thought the store to be secure. Later they found the cash register missing and the back door kicked out from the inside. Police say it's unusual how the thief pulled off the crime.
Tulsa Police Sgt Bob Rohloff, "particularly, a small store like this somebody was able to hid inside but, apparently while the clerk wasn't watching, someone got around to the back and hid in the storeroom."
There are no suspects at this time and police continue their investigation.
