Tulsa's streets may be safer following Tulsa's Night Out Thursday night. The Citizens Crime Commission brought officers and citizens together on common ground at McClure Park.

The Hispanic community received an extended invitation this year. Spanish-speaking social service agencies reached out to offer their services.

Police say recruitment was also a goal to help solve the current communication problem with Hispanic residents.
