A Tulsa man accused of stabbing his girlfriend to death will be arraigned in district court Monday.

Mark McCorkle is accused of killing Leslie Lamborn on July 3rd. During his preliminary hearing, a homicide detective testified McCorkle confessed to the murder. He says McCorkle told them it was a case of self-defense.

McCorkle claimed Lamborn came at him with a knife and they got into a struggle. He got the knife from her and stabbed her 17-times.

Prosecutors say McCorkle had no visible injuries.
