Voters in one northeast Oklahoma community will decide an unusual election for mayor today. It's taking place in Commerce, where they'll choose between a 67-year-old man who's lived in the town his entire life. And an 18-year-old student who's a political science major.
Ernie Roher just graduated from Commerce High School and hopes to be a senator one day. Jimmie Mullen was born in Commerce in 1935 and says he has no agenda; he just wants to see the city progress.
