(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Former Oklahoma Congressman Tom Coburn is releasing a book about his years in Washington DC.

``Breach of Trust -- How Washington Turns Outsiders into Insiders'' by Coburn comes out this week.

Coburn says the book is bout his efforts to contain government growth and fight the culture of what he calls ``careerism'' in Congress.

Coburn was elected to the US House in 1994 as Republicans took control of the House for the first time in 40 years. He was elected to three terms and did not run for a fourth term.
