A Morrison man has died after drowning in a shallow creek. Authorities say Victor Young drowned in a private creek below the Sooner Lake Spillway in Pawnee County.

Three other people were playing in the low water dam and lost site of Young. They found him near the dam and pulled him to shore.

Efforts to revive Young were unsuccessful.
