A single car accident has killed a man in Wagoner County. Authorities were called to East 21st Street and 193rd East Avenue around 7 AM Thursday.

They say sometime overnight, a car was east bound at a high rate of speed and went off the road. It went through a fence and hit a tree killing the passenger. The driver says he remembers leaving a bar, but doesn't remember the accident, or when it happened.

Tulsa Police officer Paul Downe, â€œthe driver states when he woke up the sun was coming up. He knocked on a door requested an ambulance, he was taken to St Francis Hospital where uh for some minor injuries.â€

We don't know the name of the passenger; we do know it is a male in his 20's. The driver is about the same age.

Police are still investigating.
