Miss Oklahoma is ready to represent the Sooner state in the Miss America pageant.

Kelly Scott is headed to Washington DC for the big event. She leaves Wednesday and says her main goal is pushing her platform. "There's 51 girls going to Miss America, one of them has to be Miss America, might not be me, I just want to go and do my best."

Kelley's platform focuses on children's health. She says it's important for kids to eat healthy and get the right amount of exercise.
