Besides the obvious changes Tulsa Public School students and parents will notice this year, Superintendent Dr David Sawyer anticipates a great year ahead.
He says across the district, class sizes will only increase by about one student. And, they're also working to keep improving across the board. “We’re putting into place a number of process and procedures and support material including staff development training. Those kinds of things as well help all of our classrooms as we continue to strive to get even better and better."
Dr Sawyer told us there are a number of new principals in the schools this year and about 200 new teachers.
