Toby Keith gets most country award nominations

(Nashville, Tennessee-AP) -- Oklahoma is well represented in the nominations for Country Music Association Awards announced today.

Moore native and Norman resident Toby Keith has the most nominations of any entertainer.

Keith is nominated for best entertainer, male vocalist, and album of the year for ``Unleashed.'' ``Beer for My Horses,'' with Willie Nelson, is nominated for best song, single, music video and vocal event.

The duo Brooks and Dunn with Tulsa native Ronnie Dunn is nominated for four awards including entertainer of the year and duo of the year. The two are also nominees for song and music video of the year for ``Red Dirt Road.''

The group Rascal Flatts with Picher native Joe Don Rooney is a nominee for vocal group of the year.

The awards show will be November fifth at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee.
