A scare for a Tulsa man when gunmen break into his home. It happened around 12:40 Tuesday morning.

Lacy Cook Junior says he was in bed when he heard a knock at the door of his home in the 800 Block of North Birmingham Place. He thought it was someone he knew so he got up.

Cook says he knew as soon as he opened the door it was bad. “A rifle barrel came through the door and when I seen it I knew what it was so I tried grabbing it and holding the door shut. I couldn't hold the door shut cause the rifle barrel was in the door.” The men overpowered Cook. They took his wallet and car keys before hitting him with a rifle butt. They then drove off in his car, a 1982 white Chevy Malibu.

No one has been arrested. Cook was not seriously hurt.
