(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Oklahoma City police say a transient has drowned in a park fountain.

Officers responding to reports of two men bathing in the Memorial Park fountain Saturday found the man dead.

Officer Felisha Williams says the were apparently looking for relief from the heat and may have been drinking.

Police have not been able to determine the dead man's identity.
