Two weeks from Tuesday, we'll decide on the Vision 2025 Plan for Tulsa County. Some people in Broken Arrow don't like the four-part plan and took to the streets near 91st and 161st to show it.
The proposal calls for a one-cent sales tax to fund incentives for Boeing and American Airlines. There's also a new downtown arena and a couple dozen other projects. Former State Representative Don Weese says he wants to know more about who will be in charge of the Vision dollars. “It’s going to be governed by an authority, we don't even know yet who's gonna serve on that authority. I tell people – If you like the Turnpike Authority, you'll love this new county-wide authority."
The Vision 2025 vote is scheduled for September 9th.
