(Irving, Texas-AP) -- The Dallas Cowboys Monday cut running back Michael Wiley and defensive tackle John Nix.
Wiley had been an all-purpose player and a third-down back in his three seasons with the Cowboys. He was hampered this pre-season by a rotator cuff injury and missed valuable time to show new coach Bill Parcells what he could do.
Nix played in 30 games, none as a starter, the past two seasons and had 43 tackles.
The cuts leave the Cowboys with 67 players and at least one more move must be made by Tuesday.
