(Stillwater-AP) -- Oklahoma State basketball coach Eddie Sutton is close to an agreement on a four-year contract extension.

The 67-year-old Sutton has a career record of 724-and-288 in 33 seasons as a Division One coach. He's 294-and-124 in 13 seasons at Oklahoma State.

The extension could be presented to the Board of Regents during a September 5th board meeting.
