Local government leaders met with Citgo's top executives again to try and keep the oil giant's headquarters in Tulsa.

Citgo is considering moving the company to Houston, which could mean 1,000 jobs lost. Mayor Bill LaFortune and First District Congressman John Sullivan met for about an hour-and-a-half at the Citgo building at 61st and Yale. Afterwards they said they couldn't give many details because they say Citgo is a privately held company and they have to respect their privacy.

They did say no financial incentives have been offered "yet.â€ And they say Citgo has not asked the city or state for anything. Congressman Sullivan says it's still very early in the process. â€œWhen you go to talk to somebody about a big decision like this, you can't go in and say we're going to give you this, this, and this. Now the first step in a process is you got to listen to the pitch and objections and start a dialogue like we've done."

Citgo could make a decision by the end of the year. More talks with Citgo are expected in the future.
