The president of the National Education Association made a stop in Green Country Monday.
Reg Weaver spoke to educators in Sapulpa. He touched on several topics, including how to meet the challenges of public education. "My job in addition to teaching is to make sure that an environment is created that lets kids know it is safe to be here and it's an environment that supports you wanting to learn."
Weaver also said it's very important that parents at home teach their children how to respect other people.
