(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Dakota Jackson outlasted Kieras Cash in the final strides to win the Cowboy Hall Fame stakes at Remington Park.

Tell It Like It Is took third, trailing by a half-length.

The race was Remington Park's only stakes event of the season for Paints and Appaloosas.

Dakota Jackson, was favored 7-to-1 in the wagering and paid $17.80 to win, $7.60 to place and $4.60 to show.

Kieras Cash, an Appaloosa, paid $9.20 to place and $3.20 to show.

Tell It Like It Is, an Appaloosa, paid $4.20 to show.
