A Broken Arrow man is being held over for trial for the murder of his parents. Darrin Ellis is charged with the October 2002 murders.

Broken Arrow Police records show Ellis called 911 and said that he had killed his parents. Their bodies were found decapitated in their apartment.

Broken Arrow crime scene investigators say it was one of the most gruesome scenes they have ever worked. Psychologists have determined that Ellis is competent to stand trial.
