Green Country kids will be heading back to school soon and thanks to your help with Project Spirit Supplies, more of them will have the tools they need to succeed.

Tuesday, this Tulsa Teachers Credit Union at 31st and New Haven, boxed up donated school supplies and got them ready to hand out. Monday was the first day to register, and already 108 families and 300 children have signed up.

The folks at TTCU say it’s exciting to see so many people willing to help. Kristi Brooks Reid, "teachers who are not getting their own school supplies, but are willing to help other children that are in need, so that they can succeed in the classroom. It is a wonderful sight to see those people walking in through the doors.”

Here’s how you can help. Drop off school supplies or cash donations at any of the six Tulsa Teachers Credit Union offices. You can also go to the John 3:16 Mission, Restore Hope Ministries or two of the Royal Cleaners locations, the one on 51st near Sheridan, and the one at 81st and Harvard.
