A Tulsa firefighter is injured while battling a house fire. Firefighters were called to a home in northeast Tulsa shortly after midnight.

When they arrived to the home on East 43rd Street North, they found the living room engulfed in flames. No one was home at the time. One firefighter got an ember in his eye. He was treated and released from a Tulsa hospital.

Damage to the home is estimated at about $30,000. The cause is under investigation.
