(Tulsa-AP) -- A man suspected of succumbing to the summer heat in Tulsa actually died of heart disease.
The medical examiner says heat is NOT to blame for the death of a 57-year-old man found near a busy intersection.
Police say the body of Ronald Gray was found leaning against his pickup truck about eight hours after he had stopped to change a tire.
Officers at first thought heat may have caused Gray to suffer a heart attack.
The state medical examiner's office says an elderly woman in Carter County was the state's first heat victim. Officials say the woman became disoriented Sunday and drove down an oil field service road where she died of heat exposure.
