A Tulsa man faces charges for allegedly throwing a puppy against a brick wall during an argument.

Witnesses told Tulsa Police 19-year-old Joseph Minter threw a six-week-old puppy nearly 70 feet against a wall this weekend. Officials say the dog was vomiting blood. Minter was booked on a felony complaint of animal cruelty.

The dog was taken to a veterinarian for care.
