(Stilwater-AP) -- Oklahoma State's Daniel Cormier is preparing for a match to determine if he'll be the third member of the OSU wrestling staff to earn a spot on the US World and Pan American Games team.
Cormier takes on Team Trials champion Dean Morrison in a best of three series July 25th in Fargo, North Dakota, at 211-and-a-half pounds.
Cormier won the freestyle championships in May, but missed the US team trials last month because of the death of his 3-month-old daughter in an auto accident.
OSU assistant Eric Guerrero qualified for the team at 132 pounds and OSU club coach Jamill Kelly at 145-and-a-half.
The Pan Am Games will be August 6th through 8th in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and the World Championships are in September in New York.
