Tulsa Police officers are mailing letters to the city's 450 registered sex offenders this week, to tell them about two new laws.
One law says people convicted for molesting or raping a child under 13 cannot be within 300 feet of a school, playground or daycare.
The other law says no sex offender can live within 2,000 feet of a school.
Tulsa Police Cpl Randy Lawmaster, "We have real good compliance here and we want to help them stay in compliance with this information."
