Police are investigating another shooting in north Tulsa this weekend. It came just hours after a town meeting to address violence in Tulsa.
Tulsa Police were called to a home in the 4900 block of North Trenton Street early Sunday. When they arrived, they found a 40-year-old man lying in the front yard.
Police say the man was visiting friends and the men were drinking on the porch when a suspect pulled up in a car, got out and asked for someone who apparently lived there. Tulsa Police Sgt Eric Dalgleish, "He gave a name and the victim stated that person's not home. Upon telling the suspect that the suspect produced a gun and started firing rounds."
The victim went to the hospital with a gunshot wound to each leg. His injuries are not life threatening.
