(Claremore-AP) -- A Grove woman died early Friday morning when she was thrown out the back window of a car on a Rogers County road.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 19-year-old Lakarra Newbolt was killed about 1:30 in the crash north of Claremore. Troopers say Newbolt was a passenger in the car when it ran off the road and sideswiped a tree.

The driver of the car is hospitalized in critical condition in Tulsa and another passenger was treated and released.

Troopers say only the second passenger was wearing a seat belt.
