(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Oklahomans who were signed onto the state's ``don't call'' list by June 1st will be automatically on the new national no-call registry.
Attorney General Drew Edmondson say the state Legislature passed a law earlier this year allowing the transfer of numbers on the state list to the national list.
Nearly 500,000 telephone numbers are on the state list, which prohibits many telemarketers from calling them.
Those who registered on the state list after June 1st must also register with the national list, which begins Friday
