Students at Rogers State University in Claremore and Cameron University in Lawton won't escape the trend of higher tuition and fees.
Regents have voted to increase tuition and fees at the schools. They will go up about 17% at Rogers and 20% at Cameron.
Presidents at both universities say the increases are needed to offset shortfalls in state funding. They say without it, courses will have to be cut and professors laid off.
