After a week of delays, the Amos Hall pool in north Tulsa is open for swimmers. The first kids jumped into the pool shortly after noon Wednesday.
The city couldn't afford to open the pool this summer, so the private group "Families of Murdered Children" took on the costs.
Tuesday, a new contract was signed between the group and the city, so to celebrate the long awaited opening, everyone who went to the Hall pool Wednesday got to swim for free!
