Krispy Kreme celebrates its first year in Tulsa

The nation's most famous name in doughnuts is celebrating its first full year in Tulsa. Wednesday, Krispy Kreme held a special birthday celebration, geared towards their younger taste-testers.

From face painting and animal petting, to munching on some great tasting donuts, Wednesday's celebration also benefited a good cause. A dollar of each second dozen will go to benefit Big Brothers and Sisters of Green Country. Aaron Suntken, Krispy Kreme General Manager, "We've been working with alot of different groups in Tulsa since we opened, it just seemed a real good fit for us.â€

The promotion to benefit big brothers and sisters runs until Friday.
