(Tulsa-AP) -- A Tulsa man was killed early this morning when his pickup truck crashed on Interstate 44.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Stuart Matthew Brown died in the crash just after 2:30 this morning.

Troopers say the pickup Brown was driving westbound on I-44 hit a guard rail, throwing Brown out of the truck and into a bridge pillar.

Troopers say the airbag in Brown's truck deployed, but he was not wearing a seat belt.
