(Poteau-AP) -- A Poteau couple faces drug charges after their 10-year-old daughter was found going door-to-door, begging for beer and cigarettes.
Police say they found a methamphetamine lab in the home of Rickey Dewayne Faldon and Tammy Jean Gamble after hearing reports of the girl going door-to-door. Police say the girl was crying because the couple didn't have money for food, water or electricity.
Police say Faldon and Gamble were making methamphetamine with a propane stove.
The two are jailed in lieu of bond and the girl is now in protective custody.
