About 90 soldiers from Operation Iraqi Freedom were welcomed home Wednesday. Family and friends turned out in large numbers to celebrate the first of Fort Sill's soldiers to return from the war.
But the moment was bittersweet. Members of the C- Battery, Third Battalion, 13th Field Artillery returned home without three of their fellow soldiers: Sergeant First Class Randall Rehn, Sergeant Todd Robbins and Specialist Donald Oaks were all killed in action on April 3rd in Iraq.
The families of the three received a standing ovation in recognition of the ultimate sacrifices their loved ones made.
