Oklahoma's leaders have their invitations, now folks in the Ottawa County towns of Picher and Cardin want to know whether they'll come.

US Senators Jim Inhofe and Don Nickles have been criticized for not meeting face-to-face with residents in the Tar Creek area, since it was ranked the nation's top superfund site 20 years ago.

Friday, the Tar Creek Steering Committee sent personal invitations to the Senators, Congressman Brad Carson, Governor Brad Henry and OU President David Boren, to tour the site and meet with folks at a town meeting.
