A dangerous stretch of I-44 through Tulsa is getting national attention. Tuesday US Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta got a first hand look at the trouble spot between Yale and Riverside.
He can't promise Oklahoma road projects will be given a high federal priority, but Mineta says the narrowing and curving he saw along I-44 is just the kind of problem that needs to be fixed.
Mineta also toured a stretch of I-40 in Oklahoma City.
